Kaptin Badrukk is the most notorious Ork Freebooter in the galaxy. He commands the kill kroozer Da Blacktoof and a crew of flamboyant Flash Gitz. He sells his guns to any warlord who will pay.
He is also called the Hero of the War of Dakka, the Breaker of the Grand Guard and the Plunderer of Tanhotep. His crew, Badrukk's Flash Gitz, carry enough firepower to level a hab-block, and the Kaptin himself wields Da Rippa, the most fearsome gun of the lot. He boasts that many warlords would be long dead without his Gitz. Kaptin Badrukk is the most notorious Ork Freebooter of the age and the commander of Badrukk's Flash Gitz. He was exiled from the Bad Moons for having too many teef for his own good. Since then he has sailed the stars in the Kill Kroozer Da Blacktoof and hired out his gun-crazed crew to every warboss worth following. His titles include Hero of the War of Dakka, Breaker of the Grand Guard and Plunderer of Tanhotep. He carries the most outrageous gun in his crew, Da Rippa.
Older background makes him an unusually good strategist for an Ork. Codex: Orks (4th edition) has him advising any warlord who can pay his outrageous fees. After the battle, the Flash Gitz usually 'persuade' the employer to hand over the best loot before flying off in Da Blacktoof. Many warlords think the extortion is worth it to watch the Gitz unleash their guns, and the Flash Gitz' wealth has led to rumours of chests of teef buried on wasted worlds and barren asteroids. Codex: Orks (8th edition) credits his recent run of precise teleporter strikes to tech he gained by rescuing the Big Mek Badmek Mogrok on the Knight World of Alaric Prime. Codex: Orks (11th edition) adds that his crew boarded the Ark of Omen Roskalon Entwined, blew the space hulk in two and kept the half with most of the engines.
Origins
He was thrown out of the Bad Moons klan because he had too many teef, the Ork currency.
After his exile from the Bad Moons, Badrukk took to the stars as a Freebooter and quickly outstripped his rivals. He and his crew have fought alongside nearly every major warboss of recent history, from Ghazghkull's campaigns to independent raids. Some of his claimed exploits, such as felling a Freeblade Knight with a squig and drunken snotlings, have probably grown in the telling.

Personality
Badrukk is greedy, flamboyant and treacherous. He loves loot, guns and showing off, and is always looking out for himself.
He is a showman who loves his own legend, dressing in barbarous finery and boasting of his feats. He values loot and firepower above loyalty, which is why other Orks pay him well but never fully trust him. His greed is legendary even by Bad Moon standards, which is saying something.
He dresses the part. His bald, scarred head is decorated with the medals of Imperial Navy admirals whose ships he has gutted. His teeth are so numerous that his face is split by a permanent grin, and they are plated with adamantium and ur-gold looted from the Palace of Undying Light. His Goldtoof Armour is plated with hundreds of melted-down teef that he kicked out of rival kaptins' mouths. He flies black banners bearing the Freebooterz' 'Jolly Ork'. He wears a lead-lined greatcoat because Da Rippa, once the gun of a sub-sector governor's Ogryn bodyguard, now fires unstable plasma canisters that make standing near it a death sentence. Three gretchin, Da Powder Grotz, carry his ammunition and loot.

Legacy
Badrukk is the most notorious Freebooter Kaptin in the galaxy, a mercenary who sells his services, and his gun, to whoever pays best. His raids and betrayals have made him wealthy and widely hated. He shows that Ork culture has room for profiteers as well as warlords, and that even other Orks have learned not to trust a Freebooter's word. Badrukk is the Ork pirate at his finest: greedy, flashy and genuinely lethal.
