A Canoness is the martial and spiritual heart of an Adepta Sororitas Order Militant, combining the tactical genius of a Space Marine Captain with the burning zeal of an Ecclesiarchy Cardinal. Every Canoness has risen from the ranks of the Battle Sisters through centuries of merciless warfare against heretics, mutants, and witches. Whether commanding a Preceptory of a thousand warriors as a Canoness Preceptor or leading an entire Order as Canoness Superior, she walks into the thickest fire surrounded by miracle-wrought barriers of golden light.
