Lore & origins

To become one of the Eightbound, a World Eaters Khorne Berzerker must willingly enter the Eightfold Cage—a brass-bound sarcophagus of hooks, Butcher's Nails amplifiers, and blood-runes aboard the Conqueror or upon a Khornate forge-world. Within the cage, eight separate Bloodletter daemons of Khorne are summoned into the marine's body at once. Most aspirants are torn apart from the inside out as the eight Neverborn fight for dominance; those rare survivors who bend or harmonise with all eight daemons emerge swollen to twice the bulk of an Astartes.
