Among the Kinhosts of the Leagues of Votann, the Hekaton Land Fortress stands as the ultimate expression of Brôkhyr engineering and maximalist weapon design. Originally developed in the deep antiquity of the First Ancestors to haul bulk ore and pull armoured land-train carriages across the crushing gravity and lethal radiation of the Galactic Core, the Hekaton was so indestructibly over-engineered that adapting it into the Leagues' primary main battle tank and heavy troop transport required little more than bolting the deadliest ordnance in the Kin armoury onto its hull.
Every Hekaton is a rolling bastion protected by inches-thick tricermatite adaptive plating — a bastium alloy skin infused with corpuscles of hexaphasic mineral and interleaved with an internal weavewërke energy-field lattice — propelled by six dual-core traction units that build up unstoppable crushing momentum on the move. Beneath its reinforced armoured canopy sit a Hearthkyn driver and an Ironkin co-pilot, supported by an independent cogitator core wired with multiple COG units that monitor subsystems and run semi-automated proximity nets for the vehicle's sponson guns.
Within its cavernous, empyric-shielded rear bay, cradled in heavy support harnesses, a Hekaton can carry a full band of twelve to fourteen Hearthkyn Warriors or Cthonian Beserks, six Einhyr Hearthguard in bulky Exo-Armour, or four Brôkhyr Thunderkyn in their exo-frames straight into the heart of the battle.
Appearance & wargear
Looming on six massive, independently sprung traction wheels beneath industrial roll-cage bars and heavy searchlights, the Hekaton Land Fortress bristles with spherical weapon mounts on every flank. Its main dorsal turret houses either a Cyclic Ion Cannon, a tank-obliterating Heavy Magna-Rail Cannon, or an STC-derived SP Heavy Conversion Beamer coveted by the Adeptus Mechanicus, backed up by a rear-mounted MATR Autocannon and four chassis-mounted Votannic Bolt Cannons or Ion Beamers. Behind the turret sits either a Pan Spectral Scanner or a vertical warhead silo loaded with an electronics-crippling Ancestor's Vengeance Warhead, an anti-armour Mountain Breaker Warhead, or an infantry-shredding Kin's Wrath Warhead.

Battlefield role & tactics
Serving simultaneously as an Oathband's heaviest line-breaker and its premier assault transport, the Hekaton Land Fortress rumbles inexorably toward the hardest objective on the field while its proximity nets and COG-linked sponsons scythe down approaching infantry from every angle. With a single shot from its Heavy Magna-Rail Cannon or SP Heavy Conversion Beamer it can core an enemy super-heavy tank or vaporise a Terminator squad before grinding over the wreckage and dropping its rear ramp to disgorge a fresh squad of Einhyr Hearthguard or Hearthkyn Warriors.

Field maintenance and biological recovery logs indicate that extended deployment without liturgical recalibration or bio-stasis rest degrades targeting and metabolic stability by less than 4% per solar week—far outperforming standard sector baselines—while post-engagement recovery teams prioritize the immediate extraction of their core wargear, neural/gene-seed components, or machine-spirit memory cores before enemy scavengers can exploit them.
